vote vote vote, everybody vote - unless you are a felon, 'cause felons can't vote
So, who would you vote for if you had to base your vote solely on the candidate's favorite movies from their Facebook page?
Candidate A:
Marie, The Hunt for Red October, Die Hard 2, Days of Thunder, In the Line of Fire
Candidate B:
Casablanca, Godfather I & II, Lawrence of Arabia and
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Candidate C:
The Godfather, Casablanca, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Citizen Kane
Candidate D:
Viva Zapata, Letters From Iwo Jima, Some Like It Hot
Candidate E:
The Lives of Others, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, action movies, suspense movies
Candidate F:
Sicko - Michael Moore
Candidate G:
Shawshank Redemption
Or would you go for one of the three candidates that were just too cool (or perhaps boring) to list favorite movies?
Candidate H - is just too busy saving the whole darn world to read books or watch movies - in fact - they'd like you to know that they write their own books.
Candidate I - does not watch movies but says Huck Finn is one of their favorite books and uses a sentence fragment to explain that they are fixing failing schools.
Candidate J - they've got nothing to say. You can tell they don't want to be on Facebook at all.
F & G give me hope with their movie choices, but the rest of them look like they haven't heard a good story in decades...

Candidate G. Now I have to go find out who that is! I may be surprised...

Aw, man, G isn't really a surprise but I don't want to like him even if he does have nice hair. And I'm really, really surprised because I think J is the candidate who is the most popular on facebook. Weird!

I take that back. Candidate B is definitely the most popular on facebook.

Ah,refreshing. What a fun idea! Unfortunately no one really lines up with my movie taste - just bits here and there. B, C & G. If I had to narrow it down - B.
I was never, ever interested in politics until I married the eccentric army boy (maybe a little bit before). Then I felt like I was so behind and ignorant that I would ask everyone I trusted what they thought and come to a conclusion based on other's ideas. This election I'm coming to a decision on my own even if I end up voting different from some of my family and friends. I think people would be appalled at how little I used to know. Like, one time I was sitting in a car with one of my rather brainy girlfriends and she was talking passionately about how pitiful it was that many children in middle school don't even know who the vice president is. Panic set in as my mind raced to retrieve that forgotten bit of information. Oh, my gosh, I thought, please don't ask me if I know! Thankfully I remembered:)

I'm pleased to see that the candidate whose movie tastes are the most similar to mine--quite similar, in fact--is the one for whom I will vote! Good thing I'm not a felon.

I'd have to say C! Though I most want to know whom "I" is.
